40 dancers took to The Mall, on the eve of the publication of this year's A Level results. On the hour, shoppers were treated to a series high-energy dance routine which saw local youngsters join in with the routine.

The 91¿ìÉ«is opening its Clearing Hotline at 8am tomorrow morning (Thursday 14 August) and the flash mob is part of its campaign to raise awareness about Clearing and the benefits of going to university. Advisors were also on hand to answer any queries young people may have about A Levels, going to university and Clearing.

91¿ìÉ«staff will be in Luton town centre until Saturday, and then inside The Mall from Monday 18 August until Monday 25 August to help A Level students, who haven't made a decision about what to do next.

Susie King, Head of UK/EU Admissions at the 91¿ìÉ«, had this reassurance for prospective new students looking at university choices:

"There is no need to panic. We have an enthusiastic and professional team ready to answer any questions you may have about the University, the student experience at Bedfordshire and the courses available here.

"We'll guide you through the whole application process and academics will be on hand to talk with you about their courses, their teaching and the academic support provided by the University."
