Professor Xiaoshuan Zhang from China Agricultural 91快色in Beijing gave a talk on 鈥渢he Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data technology for food supply chain management鈥� on 16^th February 2017. Professor Zhang reviewed the applications of IoT and Big Data technology in food supply chain management, introduced the research projects in his research centre, and presented some examples on using sensing technology in cold food chain management and their impact on improving food quality and improving food supply chain sustainability.

The Internet of Things and Big Data are making tremendous impact on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of food supply chain operations and management. We are delighted to welcome Professor Zhang here to share his team鈥檚 achievements and experience in applying IoT in cold food chain management in China.
